The Technical Rescue Team is the go-to for some of our most intense rescue missions. They specialize in technical rope rescue in steep terrain, as well as a focus on cliff rescue, rock and ice climbing areas, desert spires, and any other situation requiring technical ropes setup (river, canyons, etc.) The Tech Team also utilizes its skills for avalanche training and lift evacuation for ski patrol.
Training
Our trainings are outside once every other week for a couple of hours, and one full day a month. We focus mainly on rock and ice climbing technics, technical rope situations, and refining our overall skills.
